President and Founder
The leadership qualities and professional expertise Jim McLure developed during almost thirty years in commercial real estate, including more than twenty years at one Denver-based commercial property management firm, provided a solid foundation upon which to begin building MC Commercial Real Estate.
Jim’s journey began with financial management positions, first at a general contractor, then at a local bank holding a number of REO properties in its portfolio. In the late 1980s, he began taking on continuously increasing management responsibilities for Axis Commercial Realty. Starting as controller for the firm, in 2002 Jim became vice president and took on direct operational responsibilities in property management, leasing, personnel, and client relations.
When Jim made the decision to start his own commercial real estate company in 2010, former clients and former employees both reached out to express to him their desire to continue working with him. In fact, his largest client told Jim that as long as he was available, the client wouldn’t think of going with any other company, because the client knew he could trust Jim with anything.
Jim is a licensed Colorado real estate broker, and holds a bachelor of science degree in accounting from Metropolitan State College in Denver, CO.
